Time Travel

Time Travel

I sincerely believe that we have always thought about the idea of being able to travel to the past either to change something or to redeem ourselves from our mistakes and we always focus on that. This idea sounds crazy and far-fetched and if mankind wanted to and could do this the first thing it would do is change everything that has happened and affect the future creating a paradox but if instead of focusing on the past we look to the future.

Einstein's theory of relativity tells us that the rate at which clocks run is not fixed and that different objects can “travel into the future” at different rates. This opens the door to another concept of time travel: one that does not involve going somewhere and suddenly appearing in the future. This game will slow down our own clock while everyone around us keeps running at the same speed. Let the universe “get ahead of us” and then reset our clocks to “get back on track.”

Permanently abandoning everything we know and traveling into a future we know nothing about may be frightening to some, but perhaps appealing to others. It seems clear that if we ever build a “relativistic time machine,” it will look like a spaceship. We don't currently know how to create strong gravitational fields, but we do know how to accelerate things. The acceleration needed for important future travel is still far beyond our technological capabilities, but in a few decades... who knows. Maybe we send a ship into space, accelerate and decelerate, accelerate and decelerate... repeat the cycle over and over and then return to Earth, now a message in a bottle, a relic floating on the ocean currents. the ocean.
